Three cheers for Anna!

FAYETTEVILLE- Senior tennis player Anna Dybicz was named to the 2004 Southeastern Conference Good Works Team by the league office Tuesday evening.
A native of Jankoping, Sweden, Dybicz was added to the list of exceptional student-athletes for her work during the holiday season in which she helped purchase and distribute gifts to underprivileged families throughout Northwest Arkansas. Dybicz also used her helping hands to decorate for the Christmas banquet.
A former member of the Lady Razorback Student-Athlete Advisory committee, she was also a volunteer at the 2004 American Heart Association Walk that took place on the University of Arkansas campus.
"I'm extremely proud of Anna. She has led this team both on and off the court from the very first day of the season," said head coach Michael Hegarty.
As a player, Dybicz leads the team in overall wins, 13, SEC wins, five, and is likely to play on the No. 1 court this Thursday when Arkansas takes on Louisiana State University at the SEC Tournament in Nashville, Tennessee. In her last nine matches, Dybicz has won seven including five SEC contests.
As a student, Dybicz, along with teammate Melissa Cornett, posted 4.0 GPAs for the 2003 fall semester. Dybicz is on track to graduate in 2004 with a degree in finance.
